This morning, I was impacted by a post written by my friend Norm over at Norm 2.0.
Norm hosts a weekly feature called Thursday Doors where he invites fellow bloggers to share their favourite door photos from around the world.
But this week, Norm’s weekly feature shares a very heartfelt message we all need to hear.
I couldn’t agree more with his thoughts.
Please take a moment to read and to share. You can find Norm’s post here .
Hugs,
L💛
What a senseless loss that was. My thoughts are with those affected.
Sadly, there are too many of these senseless losses Boris. With the current administration to the south, I fear this will only worsen.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Norm’s post. Truly appreciated!
when will it end????
Honestly Jodi, it frightens me. Norm’s post touched my heart this morning, putting in to words so many thoughts that have crossed my mind.
Thanks for visiting! Wishing you a light & peaceful day my friend.
I’m not a regular visitor to Norm so thanks for sharing, Lynn. I’ll go and read it now.
Thanks Jo!
Thanks for posting the link. 😖
My pleasure Nelson! Thanks for reading!
Thank you so much for the shout-out Lynn – appreciate it 😀
You are most welcome Norm. Wishing you peaceful day & a lighter heart my friend.
Norm makes a wonderful distinction between opinion and generalizations. Hadn’t thought about it before, but so astute. Thanks for the link to his blog post.
Ally, it always surprises & saddens me when I see people making generalizations , usually out of complete ignorance. Thank you so much for taking the time to read Norm’s piece, I felt it worth sharing, particularly with everything that is going on in the world today.
Lynn I’ve just been to Norm’s page. Such a powerful post. So incredibly sad. Hoping kindness settles in the hearts of the world.
Sue, thank you for taking the time to visit Norm & read his post. I felt it was one worth sharing!
❤
Love back at ya my friend!
Thanks for sharing the link – it was very powerful and I am so sorry for this tragedy.
Happy to share. Thank you, for reading!
Love your gate and door, Lynn. One thing we can all do is show as much love as possible to everyone within our sphere, even when discussing things with which we may disagree. That would go a long, long way to helping the situation.

Janet, thank you for your kind words & for visiting today. You are so right, we can disagree on issues but still show love & respect at the same time. Wishing you a wonderful day! Lynn
We can, but all too often, we don’t. That makes any type of compromise practically impossible, which is very dangerous. You have a wonderful day as well.
Yet another senseless tragedy, just heartbreaking.
And the *&%#@ leading the US just makes it all even worse.
Thank you for sharing Norm’s post.
Sigh ….
So, so sad Laurie. I am truly at a loss for words when it comes to the *#%&@ bumble head running your country. The hatred he is spewing is unconscionable .
Thanks for sharing Lynn
My pleasure Lynn❤
