Happy Earth Day!

My friend Jeff over at Planet Bell, posted this beautiful series of photos today, in honour of Earth Day.

Jeff has traveled & lived in many corners of this earth, sharing his magnificent photos & experiences as he continues his journeys.

His photos are a wonderful reminder of why we must continue to seek ways to keep our planet thriving.

I encourage you to take a moment today & really open your eyes to the beauty of the landscape where you live. Give some thought to how you can contribute to keeping it that way.

Wishing you a Happy Earth Day.

Planet Bell

Happy Earth Day everyone!

I thought about writing a post about how we need to protect our fragile planet, reduce, reuse, recycle and support political leaders and businesses that safeguard the environment. But I realized that all my readers are smart, environmentally conscious people who are doing what they can to stop climate change and protect our Earth.

Instead, I thought I’d post photos from some of the most beautiful yet fragile and endangered landscapes and animals I’ve had the great privilege to see. Hopefully these places and animals will be around for future generations to enjoy.

Now, I will go hug a tree. Enjoy your day.

How about international pick up one piece of garbage day? That would 300 million pieces in one day, wow! If everyone could do that one day a week, amazing.

    • Lynn says:

Yes, we could definitely benefit from an international pick up day!
It always shocks me when people just toss their garbage, especially when there is a receptacle close by. This to me, is the epitome of laziness!

Goodness! How am I just seeing this post … over a week later!
Thank you for remembering and recognizing Earth Day. We, as humans, need to do so much better.
I’m in the middle of reading the National Geographic issues about Yellowstone. Beautiful, sobering, incredible
